Honeymoon: August 8th

One last full day in Hawaii... We spent the first half of the day walking around Kailua-Kona, happy that we finally found the "tourist shopping spot" that earlier seemed to differentiate Lahaina from Kona. After doing lots of shopping, we ate lunch at the Kona Brewing Company. The pizza here is very good!

For our last dinner on our honeymoon, we made reservations at Pahu i'a, an upscale restaurant at Four Seasons Hualalai. The location was excellent, the sunset was excellent, the food was excellent, and the service was excellent. Did I mention that the sunset was amazing? We both enjoyed our dishes, and the molten chocolate lava cake was exactly what we were looking for! Granted, we payed nicely for this dinner (~$160 if I recall correctly), but it was certainly worth it! An excellent way to end our honeymoon.
